Beskrivning

Denna chilisås har vunnit pris i den internationella tävlingen The Hot Pepper Awards. Såsen innehåller till 50% de ökända chilisorterna Trinidad Scorpion Yellow, som kan bli upp till 1000 0000 scovillegrader. Mot en bakgrund av aprikos framträder dessa superheta chilisorters blommiga toner, och när den rasande hettan slår till skapas en smakexplosion i munnen. Såsen mäter ca. 500 000 SHU.

Om Skånsk Chili

Skånsk Chili är ett familjeföretag som odlar ekologisk chili och tillverkar chilisåser i Asmundtorp, Landskrona. Företaget tar ansvar för hela kedjan från att sätta frö i jorden till den färdiga såsen i butikshyllan. Genom att använda nyttodjur som steklar och nyckelpigor kan chilin odlas helt utan bekämpningsmedel. Odlingen är även klimatvänlig eftersom den endast sker under sommarhalvåret. Produktionen är småskalig och hantverksmässig och chilin tillagas varsamt för att framhäva de unika smaker som finns i varje chilisort.

God, men...

Den är stark, men jag tror inte den är så stark som det hävdas.
God dock, finfint med ett gäng stänk på stekta ägg, tacos, varma mackor... ja allt egentligen.

500 000 SHU = BS

Kraftigt besviken på denna. Den är absolut god, men långt ifrån så het som man kan förvänta sig av något som hävdar en halv miljon scoville. Tycker t.ex. bl.a. att den står sig riktigt illa mot den enl. siffrorna mycket mildare mango habanero, och är ett skämt mot den klassiskt vidriga da bomb beyond insanity som hävdar c:a 135 000 SHU.

Not spicy... I was expecting more from this. Since i have tasted and tried scorpion chillis before... I think it's doesn't even reach million scoville on this one.. Tsk tsk... Shoud've bought D'bomb instead... 😒😒😒
